Whether complex simulation models or simplified assessment methods are used – the crucial point for reliable calculation results is the quality of the data basis.
Since very often investments amounting to millions depend on the calculation results, it is indispensable to carefully acquire and determine the initial data. Measuring flow, level and substance concentrations within water and wastewater networks is one of the centrepieces of thoroughly obtaining fundamental data.
Moreover, it is only possible by collecting and systematically evaluating measurement data to verify whether certain measures work as planned and have the desired effect. Measuring is therefore a substantial element for self-monitoring and success monitoring in the field of urban drainage.
NivuFlow 750 Ultrasonic is the better Flow Meter. Flow metering at the highest technical level
The NivuFlow 750 flow meter is the successor to the well-known OCM Pro CF. Compact dimensions of the flowmeter allow DIN-rail installation and installation in switching cabinets even under confined space conditions and in narrow housings.
Combined front-side cage spring terminal clamps ensure quick and easy wiring as well as quick and easy transmitter exchange without tools.
The modern, intuitive one-hand operation using the rotary pushbutton in context with the high-resolution, easy-to-read graphic colour daylight display allows very quick and easy, cost-efficient commissioning on site. No extra input devices or software components are required.
The latest integrated discharge allow even more accurate and more stable investigation of flow rates at high operational reliability even under very difficult measurement conditions. Based on the ultrasonic correlation method, individual velocities are detected in different levels of the flow section. A real 3D flow profile is calculated in real time and is indicated in a reproducible and verifiable manner on the flow meter diaplay. Influencing factors such as flume shape, discharge behaviour and wall roughness are taken into account and are considered while computing the flow.
The NivuFlow 750 offers control function as well. i.e. for flow control in storm water basins or storm water retention basins as well as in sewers with storage capacity and overflow.
The NivuFlow 750 flow meter features quickest possible signal processing, Modbus TCP/RTU as well as online connection via Internet.
For flow velocity measurement starting at flow levels as low as 3 cm through several meters in flumes and channels with various shapes and dimensions, there is a wide variety of sensors tailored to your application available.

For example, we achieve a service life of more than 10 years with one measurement per 30 seconds and one data transmission per hour.

NivuParQ 850 – Innovative Particle Measurement

The determination of solids concentrations with the parameter TSS (total suspended solids) is becoming more and more important. With NivuParQ 850, you can easily carry out permanent particle concentration (TSS equivalent) measurements in rainwater, combined water and flowing water. The low-maintenance system is used in partially and fully filled channels, ducts and pipes with of various shapes and dimensions. The measurement technology is based on ultrasonic backscattering and uses complex algorithms to record both the particle concentration (TSS equivalent) and the particle size distribution (incl. fine fraction smaller than 63 µm) in the water. In combination with a flow measurement, the summed load can be determined.

Substitute a defective Mag Meter in no time with a minimal carbon footprint! The NivuFlow 600 system was developed particularly for flow measurement in full pipes. To meet the highest possible accuracy requirements it is possible to utilise up to 32 velocity paths. There are pipe sensors as well as contactless clamp-on sensors available for the measurement system. It is not necessary to interrupt running processes to install both sensor types. The system is suitable for the detection of flow rates in various liquid media covering a wide range of applications.
